For UNA Reinigungen, we carried out a move-out cleaning for a 4.5-room apartment in the Zurich Affoltern area. Our work focused on the main areas typically required when returning a rental: the kitchen, the bathroom, and the general cleaning of surfaces and floors.

In particular, we paid attention to areas that tend to collect everyday residue and that are commonly checked during handover—such as kitchen surfaces and relevant appliance areas, fixtures, and the main contact surfaces in the sanitary area. In kitchens and bathrooms, it helps to treat grease- and limescale-prone spots carefully and to not miss edges and gaps.

As general guidance for anyone preparing a move-out: start by removing dust, then clean step by step by zones, and use products appropriate for the surface materials. Avoid mixing different cleaners, especially if they contain strong chemicals—stick to one product as intended and rinse thoroughly where needed.
